Non-Academic Services
Weekly mentoring sessions and tutorials between instructor and student provide opportune times to systematically address cognitive, affective and learning-style needs along with any curriculum frustrations. The basis of this interaction focuses on the level of mastery being achieved in coursework and documented through the learning matrices.
Additionally, student-specific organizational practices and strategies are explored during the mentoring session in order to ensure that the student comprehends curriculum content. Instructors then convey information gathered to the appropriate student advisor. Instructors and student advisors meet to review the specific learning hurdles or obstacles which have surfaced. Suggested corrective measures are discussed and developed for student and instructor implementation.
