Ronda Stroud | Community Employment Liaison
As a Community Employment Liaison, Ronda Stroud assists the students of
LDI in recognizing their employment/career and training opportunities
by helping students to assess their strengths and limitations in their
chosen career paths. In addition to working one on one with her students,
Ronda takes an active role in building a network of highly regarded employers
who are excited about working with the students of Life Development Institute
by going out into the community and developing relationships though volunteering,
networking, and membership to professional organizations.
Ronda received a Bachelors of Arts degree in Interpersonal Communication
from the University of Akron in 2005, and is currently pursuing her Professional
in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the Human Resources Certification
Institute (HRCI). Ronda has several years of experience in Human Resources
with a strong focus on recruitment, employee retention, and training/development.
Ronda is a member of several professional organizations including Society
for Human Resources Management (SHRM), Association for Training and Development
(ASTD), and Networking Employment and Training Professionals Association
(NETPA).
Ronda really enjoys helping the students of LDI prepare for interviews
with employers by giving them the opportunity to have mock interviews
with her and get firsthand feedback from someone who has made hiring decisions
on a regular basis. She also enjoys helping her student’s breakdown
several career options within a chosen field; so that they will have the
opportunity to realize where they can best utilize their professional
strengths.
When Ronda isn’t working, she is very busy trying to stop her three
daughters from growing up so quickly!! She also has a serious addiction
to discount shopping and you can catch her waiting by her mailbox on Saturday
mornings for her special secret coupon books!
